Who are Eric and Janelle Boyenga?
Eric and Janelle Boyenga started the Boyenga Team in 1996 and lead it today at Compass. Eric (DRE 01254725) focuses on pricing strategy, market data and marketing technology. Janelle (DRE 01254724), an Accredited Staging Professional, leads the team’s home prep and design work and is known for contract negotiation.
What is the Boyenga Team?
A Silicon Valley real estate team at Compass, known as the Property Nerds®. Every agent on the team can help you buy or sell, and each works from the playbook Eric and Janelle built.

More than 2,520 homes and over $2.6 billion in sales since 1996.
Where do you work?
Santa Clara County, the bay side of San Mateo County, and San Francisco. Our office is at Compass, 750 University Ave, Los Gatos, CA 95032.

What do you charge?
Commissions are negotiable. We offer bundled services, so ask us what’s included.
Do you work with buyers as well as sellers?
Yes. Every agent on the team helps buyers and sellers.
Can you help me get my home ready to sell?
Yes. We plan the work buyers notice, line up and manage the trades, and keep the project on schedule. Compass Concierge can front eligible costs until closing.
Do you handle trust, probate and estate sales?
Yes. We work with trustees, attorneys and family members, often across long distances, to prepare and sell a home with care and a clear timeline.
Do you specialize in Eichler and mid-century modern homes?
Yes. Atrium plans, post-and-beam framing and radiant heat call for an agent who knows how these homes are built and how to show them off.
Can I sell without putting my home on the open market?
Ask us about Compass Private Exclusives, a way to market a home privately through Compass before, or instead of, a public listing.
What is my home worth?

Can you tell me about schools?
We can share school district boundary maps. Each district sets school assignment, and boundaries can change, so always check the address with the district.
Can you tell me whether a neighborhood is a good fit for me?
We’ll give you facts about the homes and the area: prices, lot sizes, home ages and styles, and distances to parks, transit and work. Fair housing law means we don’t describe neighborhoods by who lives there or rank them as safer or better for any kind of household. For crime information, we point you to the local police or sheriff’s department.
