I highly recommend the Boyengas team! Janelle Boyenga took the time to talk to me at length about my home-buying plans. Even in this crazy market, we were able to have our second offer accepted due to her expertise & ability to negotiate with the sellers agent. In the end, we got a single-family house we love within our budget, which we thought was an impossible task at the outset!

The first call I placed to the agency was answered by one of the founders, Janelle Boyengas, and she took the time to talk to me at length about my home-buying plans. My husband and I were looking to buy our first home in the Bay Area and connected with Shilpa through an online search. We could not have found a better realtor to help us through this very complicated and stressful process! Shilpa was extremely responsive from Day 1 and took the time to understand what we were looking for. We ended up making an offer on a house 4 days after we met her but even in this short span of time she helped us see multiple homes in different locations so we could get a better idea of what was available and be confident of the decision to make an offer on the house we liked. Shilpa was constantly in touch with us and explained each part of the process patiently. She worked on creating multiple offers for the house and when we got into a bidding war, negotiated well with the buyer’s agent to ensure we won the bid. The lender we worked with was not great and it was a stressful few days in the run up to closing. Shilpa went above and beyond to not only to constantly communicate with us and help us understand the various options we had, but also keep following up with the lender on the status of the loan. She also worked closely with the escrow agents and buyers agent to make sure we were all prepared to have an expedited closing. We felt very supported by Shilpa the entire time, not just as a realtor but as someone we could rely on as a friend. Even after moving into the house, Shilpa has continued to be in touch to make sure we feel settled in and have the right contacts for any additional services we need for the house. I just closed on a sale with Sandy and she is a dream to work with! From the listing preparation to the close of escrow, Sandy works diligently and always has my best interest at heart. We were first time home buyers and had a very large search radius. Naoko helped us view over 20 houses all over the bay area and she accompanied us to all locations that we were interested in, some of which required more than an hour of driving each way. She also introduced us to new locations that we had not considered before but turned out to be very appealing to us.
One thing that we loved about her as our agent was that she was very patient and we never felt pushed to speed our search or make a rash decision. Moreover, Naoko was very prompt in responding to our text messages and she was readily available for phone calls.
