  • Warranty and SB 800Meritage’s annual report describes a 1-year workmanship, 2-year mechanical and up to 10-year structural warranty. California’s Right to Repair Act generally allows defect claims for up to 10 years after completion, so these mid-2010s homes are inside that window for a few more years.
