County assessor records list the year built, living area, lot size and stories for nearly every house in Campbell. We took the 7,582 single-family houses inside the City of Campbell in the city’s public parcel records, one record per parcel, and placed each in our neighborhood guide outlines. The figures come from public parcel data as of October 2026. There are no addresses or owner details here.

What stands out

  • Morgan Park has the oldest houses (median built 1952, 82% before 1960), and White Oaks has been rebuilt the most: 23% of its houses carry a year built of 2000 or later.
  • Campbell houses are compact. Every neighborhood’s median house is between 1,496 and 1,989 square feet, on a median lot of 6,320 sq ft to 9,370 sq ft.

Reading it right

  • Source. Year built, living area, lot size and stories are the county assessor’s fields as published in the City of Campbell’s public parcel layer; single-family means the assessor’s single-family use code, and lot size is the mapped parcel area.
  • Neighborhood rows and city rows count differently. A neighborhood row counts every single-family parcel inside our guide’s outline, so a few count parcels just over the San Jose line (14 in San Tomas West and 13 in Hazelwood, for example). The city rows count only parcels inside the city limits.
  • “Year built” is the record’s year. A house torn down and rebuilt shows the rebuild year; an older house with an addition keeps its original year.
  • Assessor records lag remodels. Living area and stories can miss recent additions. Check permits for any house you’re buying.
  • A median isn’t a verdict. It describes the houses, not which neighborhood is right for you.
