About Channing Park

Channing Park went up in phases. Channing Park No. 1 and No. 2 (57 lots, 1951–1952) opened in October 1951 around the De Soto Drive loop with Anshen & Allen designs; an Eichler history publication adds that the landscaping was by Thomas Church and Kathryn Stedman.

Channing Park No. 3 (20 lots) followed in 1955 with Jones & Emmons plans, per the City’s Eichler guidelines.
