CA Palo Alto Santa Rita Rancho

Also known as Rincon de San Franciscquito, this area was an 8,418-acre Mexican land grant in 1804 and named after San Francisquito Creek in Palo Alto. This portion of land includes parts of Santa Clara County including Stanford University's campus, south Palo Alto, and the Barron Park neighborhood. Today, the area is distinguished by its rural atmosphere that retains its ranch-like historical qualities.
