Faircourt | Eichler Neighborhood Palo Alto

  • Just east of the Midtown area of Palo Alto lie three small Eichler clusters. One of these three is the Faircourt subdivision which was built in 1956 on Richardson Court. The Faircourt neighborhood is made up of 28 homes with just two different floor plans. The smaller option is a three-bed, two-bath home totaling in 1,584 square feet. The second, larger option is a four-bed, two-bath home with 1,789 square feet. Nowadays these numbers seem small, but for their time they were quite large. Faircourt is a long cul-de-sac with one connecting street, Murray Way, that reconnects to Loma Verde Way. It is a wonderful family-friendly neighborhood with quiet and private streets. This location also makes the neighborhood a wonderful place for a professional with tons of tech companies nearby and easy access to highway 101 and 82 for commute access. Today Faircourt is still a beloved Eichler neighborhood with residents who continue to uphold Eichlers ideals of community living. As an older neighborhood, Faircourt has watched Palo Alto and the greater Silicon Valley transform into the bay area we know today. Now, the Palo Alto area is one of the most sought-after places to live in the state. As a worldwide tech hub, Palo Alto is home to companies like HP, Tesla, Skype, and VMware with tech giants Apple, Google, and Facebook all in neighboring cities. The Palo Alto School District is currently ranked #1 in the state of California and there are a plethora of top-ranked private schools in and around the city. Downtown Palo Alto is a charming combination of small-town accessibility and urban ambiance. Outdoor cafes, tiny coffee shops, bookstores, mom-and-pop specialty shops, national chains, art galleries, two movie theaters, and numerous restaurants attract shoppers, eaters and entertainment-seekers of all ages.
